April 28th, 2007: Affiliate agreement updated

Dear friend and valued affiliate:

Our affiliate agreement was recently updated. It may look much longer, but that's lawyers for you, LOL. The major changes that you must be aware of include:

(1) advertising of ANY KIND on ebay is prohibited. Obviously, auctioning a copyrighted and trademarked work of intellectual propery is illegal and prohibited, but we have had so many problems with ebay that we do not even allow classified ads. Sorry, but burn the fat cannot be advertised on ebay.

(2) Burn the fat, and Burn the fat, feed the muscle are both registered trademarks. You have permission to use either of them in a domain name, but ONLY if the domain is for the SOLE PURPOSE of promoting the burn the fat program. You may not register a domain using our trademarks and sell any other product on that web page.

(3) It is not permitted to upload sales material to free download sites and it is illegal to upload material to free download sites and make it appear as though it were the actual burn the fat ebook. This is a deceptive practice which is not only prohibited by us, but also clickbank has become aware of this type of abuse and they also now consider it affiliate program abuse and will terminate accounts of any one who engages in such activity.

New provisions may be added to our agreement in the future, because unfortunately, some people do not wish to play by the rules and new forms of affiliate program abuse and spamming continue to emerge. We simply do not want the burn the fat brand name associated with anything but legitimate, white hat marketing methods. Thank you for your cooperation.
