In my last news update, I mentioned that Burn The Fat had continued to rise in popularity. Just one week ago, we hit a milestone and cracked the 300 gravity mark in the clickbank marketplace. Gravity is still in the 290's as of today.
Again, if you're unfamiliar with what gravity means, the clickbank gravity ranking is an indication of how many affiliates are making sales (not an exact number, but a "weighted sum" based on the number of affiliates who have made sales in the last 8 weeks).
This ranking of 300 puts burn the fat, feed the muscle among the all time best selling products in clickbank history - in ANY category, not just diet or fitness!
Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle is also one of the most researched ebooks and clickbank products in history. There have been more than 11,000 products listed the clickbank marketplace.
According to independent third party clickbank resource website, clickbank product trends, which ranks the top 100 of these 11,000 by search popularity, Burn The Fat is the 5th most researched.
There are no other fitness or diet products anywhere even in the top 20 products. The other highly researched products are all "make money on the net" types of products. See the screenshot below:
One more statistic I'd like to remind you about is the clickbank product trends "earned per sale" (EPS) figure. As you can see below, the trend climbed throughout 2006.
The reason for this increase in payouts in 2006 is because in May of 2006 we added an upsell package which increased your potential commisison (if the "deluxe" package was purchased), while also increasing the average dollar amount per sale to over $20.00 (which helps to increase your profit margin if you are paying for advertising... especially important if you are using PPC, etc).
In addition, the clickbank trends EPS stat indicates "Climbing trend means buyers like product: fewer returns: better profit margin."
Obviously, we're extremely excited about the continued (and growing) popularity of Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle, but even more exciting is the fact that we have a full updated edition in the works for 2007, with opportunities for even higher commissions than ever.

Google has a new feature called google trends. Most websites dont even show up as a blip on the google trends radar, but Google trends shows graphically that the popularity of BURN THE FAT has been climbing up and up and up for three years in a row. See screen capture below:
You also may want to know about our Alexa ranking, which shows the popularity of a site based on traffic. Alexa is not a definitive rank, it's only a general gauge of traffic and popularity. Many site owners artificially spike their alexa rank with massive email blasts, but when you see sites like Burn The Fat that rank high and stay ranked high for months and years, it's a good indication of a very popular site.
Burn The Fat.com has been holding steady around 18,000 or so and is rarely over 25,000 (in case you're not familiar with Alexa, 18,000 means Burn The Fat.com is the 18,000th most popular site.... out of hundreds of millions of sites ranked by alexa.
Bottom Line: Burn The Fat is not only the best selling fitness and diet ebook in internet history, it is STILL one of the hottest weight loss programs TODAY and the trends show that it is growing, growing, growing. There are a lot of happy affiliates right now! I hope you're already one of them... If not, Now is the time to jump on board and promote full steam ahead.

PS. I usually only send out affiliate news once every month or two, but I'll be in touch with you again a few times this month with more promotional articles, tools and advice. It's best to strike while the iron is hot - January and February are the hottest months of the year for internet weight loss and fitness products.

One last note: in 2006, we added an upsell package, which boosted the bottom line for many of our affiliates by 25% or more, automatically, overnight, with no extra effort on their part (every upsell simply paid out a higher commission).
