Tom, I've just finished reading your book. It's outstanding!! Being a physician, I think you have done an excellent job of clearing all the nutritional confusion that is out there and not dishing out some romantic notions or pseudoscientific BS.

I think that by far and away the greatest idea of your book is quantification of the various parameters (lean body mass, body fat%, etc) on a weekly basis and using this data to ultimately guide your nutritional and exercise regimen.

How come I have never read about this in magazines such as "Muscle and Fiction"? I cannot wait to post you 3 months from now and tell you how well I'm doing!

Your advice has helped me like you wouldn't believe. A year ago when I started working out I was 6ft tall and 320 pounds of blob.

I stuck to a plan of better eating, morning cardio followed by a little weightlifting on machines. As I got stronger and fit, I moved to jogging and lifting free weight afterwards. After doing this a few months I was buying new clothes so fast I considered stopping because I was going broke.

I am happy to say today I am 235 very muscular with just a little chest and abdominal fat left that is shrinking everyday. Now I am preparing to take it to the next level.
